CSI Proudly Announces: Crime Analysis Sub Module. Jan. 2010
CSI Technology Group is proud to announce the development of the Crime Analysis Module to work in conjunction with the InfoShare applications. The crime analysis module has several components to assist a countywide law enforcement effort to track criminals and look for emerging trends. The crime analysis tools include –
- Ability to import and map data from both the Investigations and Intelligence Module.
- Create maps of gang activity.
- Create maps of criminal activity.
- Statistical analysis of crimes along with comparisons of previous time frames to include day of week and time of day patterns.
- Spreadsheets.
- Charts & graphs.
During further development of the application, we hope to import data from the municipalities for additional analysis to show the overall crime picture in a county.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office was the first agency in New Jersey to implement this application. Additional agencies have since opted to acquire this application as well in order to better serve their agencies and citizens.
